CareNet, Inc. has decided to donate 2,000,000 yen to the “Emergency Team” fund to support the emergency medical aid activities of Médecins Sans Frontières(MSF).
This donation was made from the proceeds of a charity event held at the Company and other sources. As part of our anniversary celebration on July 1 of this year, we held a charity event within the company to donate the proceeds. In addition to the proceeds from these events, we also contributed a portion of the proceeds to this donation.
The MSF emergency team, to which we are making a donation, plays the role of an Emergency Room (ER) within the said organization. The team maintains independence through private donations and is highly specialized to respond immediately to emergency situations, and it is currently mainly handling support for Ukraine. We sincerely hope that people facing life-threatening situations will be able to return to their normal peaceful lives as soon as possible, and we will support their humanitarian assistance efforts.
Since our founding in 1996, we have been contributing to society by providing various medical information services for physicians and other healthcare professionals that are useful in their daily medical practices. We will continue to take on the challenge of making tomorrow’s medical care even better with the help of all our employees, aiming to realize a sustainable society in which all people can enjoy health and welfare under our philosophy of striving to create a sustainable healthy society in the digital age.
